Krebs & Aulich

Test bench motors

The benchmark for test bench motors

With over 1,000 installations worldwide, test bench engines from Krebs & Aulich are used by all major OEMs and all well-known service providers. Whether in the testing of ambitious combustion engines, in research for the e-mobility of tomorrow, in component testing or in virtual simulation - test bench engines from Krebs & Aulich help to test real values long before the product is used.

The strange thing:

From the design of the algorithms for calculating the magnetic circuit to the construction and handcrafted production of the individual parts - Krebs & Aulich combines all the essential processes for manufacturing a test bench motor under one roof.

We supply small batches to certified standards and are the customisers among motor manufacturers. Almost all requests and special features can be taken into account until shortly before a test stand is completed.

Extending the limits of application is what drives us: speeds of up to 30,000 rpm, the highest NVH requirements, torsionally rigid designs and special housings for tight installation spaces and special thermal conditions on motor test benches are already in the pipeline.

  • Highly dynamic applications with accelerations of 80,000 rpm/s
  • very good mass/performance ratio:
  • very high efficiency:
  • Rattle resistance
  • Patents on special solutions for test bench machines
