The benchmark for test stand engines
With more than 1000 installations worldwide, Krebs & Aulich test stand engines are used by all major OEMs and renowned service providers.
Whether testing new and ambitious combustion engines, research in e-mobility concepts, during component tests or in virtual simulation, test stand engines from Krebs & Aulich make it possible to evaluate real data long before the product application.
115 kg / 220 kW / 350 Nm / 8.000 rpm / +85% overload / 0,026 kgm2
for real time and real weight engine simulation
20.000 rpm / 320 kW / 400 Nm / 0,052 kgm2
for hybrid and electric drive testing
750 kW / 1.200 Nm / 9.000 rpm / frame 132 / 0,15 kgm2 for engine and gearbox testing
From creating the algorithms for the magnetic circuit calculations through the designing to the manufacturing of the individual parts – every significant step in producing a test stand engine is done by the Krebs & Aulich team.We deliver small batch series in compliance with certified standards and are known among engine manufacturers for our customized products. Almost every request and special requirement can be considered up to near completion of the test stand.
Our goal is to expand the application limits:
Speeds up to 30.000 rpm, highest nvh-requirements, torsionally stiff designs and special housings for confined spaces and extreme thermal conditions. Projects addressing these challenges are already in progress.
